Julia Gilbert

Julia joined the firm’s New York office in 2001. Previously, she was a Vice President with a boutique search firm in NYC focused on financial services recruiting. Prior to that, she was an executive in the corporate offices of Ann, Inc (ANN). She has decades of experience focused on building teams for domestic and international funds investing in Private Equity, Public Equity, Growth Equity, Private Credit and Family Office strategies. She received a BA in History and Philosophy with honors from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.

Though Julia grew up on a cattle ranch in Northern New Mexico, she now calls Greenwich, CT home. When she is not recruiting, you can find her on the roads to Hanover and Hamilton to visit her kids in college.
